1. Acceptance of Terms
By creating an account on ExamGrinder (“Platform”), you agree to these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree, please do not use the Platform. These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and ExamGrinder Technologies (“Company”, “we”, “us”).
2. Platform Description
ExamGrinder is an online competitive exam preparation platform designed to help students in India prepare for government and professional examinations including UPSC, SSC, JKSSB, JKPSC, Railway (RRB), Banking (IBPS/SBI), NEET, JEE, and state PSC examinations.
The Platform provides: practice questions, mock tests, study notes, current affairs, typing simulators, syllabus trackers, and personalised study plans. All content is for educational purposes only.
3. No Guarantee of Results
ExamGrinder is a preparation tool only. We make no representations, warranties, or guarantees that use of the Platform will result in passing any examination, securing employment, or achieving any particular score or rank. Examination outcomes depend on many factors beyond the Platform's control.
4. Account Registration
You must be at least 13 years old to create an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration. We reserve the right to suspend accounts with false or misleading information.
One person may only hold one account. Creating multiple accounts to circumvent free-tier limits or to abuse referral programmes is prohibited.
5. Subscriptions and Payment
Certain features require a paid subscription. Subscription fees are charged in Indian Rupees (INR) inclusive of all applicable taxes. Payments are processed securely by Razorpay.
No-Refund Policy: All payments are final and non-refundable, except where required by applicable law. If you purchase a subscription and are unable to access the Platform due to a technical fault on our side, we will credit your account with an equivalent extension of your subscription period.
We reserve the right to change subscription prices with 30 days' notice to active subscribers.
6. Content and Intellectual Property
All content on ExamGrinder — including questions, explanations, notes, study materials, and the Platform's design — is owned by the Company or its licensors and is protected by Indian copyright law. You may not reproduce, distribute, or commercially exploit any content without written permission.
You may use content solely for personal, non-commercial exam preparation. Sharing login credentials, downloading content in bulk, or using automated tools to scrape content is strictly prohibited and may result in immediate account termination.
7. Prohibited Conduct
You agree not to:
- Impersonate any person or entity
- Post or transmit harmful, offensive, or unlawful content
- Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the Platform
- Use the Platform to conduct commercial coaching or training without a written agreement
- Interfere with the Platform's security, performance, or availability
- Use the Platform in any way that violates applicable Indian law
8. Termination
You may close your account at any time from Settings → Account. We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms, with or without notice. Upon termination, your right to access the Platform ends immediately. We will retain your data as described in our Privacy Policy.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the Company shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Platform, even if advised of the possibility of such damages. Our total liability shall not exceed the subscription fees paid by you in the 3 months preceding the claim.
10. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall first be attempted to be resolved through good-faith negotiation. If unresolved, disputes shall be subject to arbitration under the Arbitration and Conciliation Act 1996, with the seat of arbitration in Jammu, Jammu & Kashmir.
11. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms at any time. Material changes will be notified to active users by email and a prominent notice on the Platform at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
